Inspired by local Cincinnati legends The Customs, The Kidz were a ground-braking foursome who sought to reclaim the roots of Rock and Roll on their own terms.
The Kidz played sneering 1950s garage rock simply because it was entirely unfashionable to do so in Disco-laden 1979.
The band consisted of Andrew Hamilton on guitar and vocals, Karl Meyer on guitar, Shake Spaulding on drums, and Itaal Shur on piano.
The eldest members of the group were 13 years old.
